Elevate your makeup game with a structural cheek embellished with highlighter. With strobing (applying highlighter), you can achieve a beautiful dewy look that works well with warm tones (bronzer, brown eye shadow, etc.). When you wear makeup, you shouldn’t feel like you’re putting on a mask, but only emphasizing the beautiful features your momma gave ya! You deserve to glow like the goddess you are! Strobing will help you get a warm and natural makeup look.

The key to strobing is to highlight the areas that the light would naturally hit. This means strobing your upper cheek bones, underneath and above the brow, the tear ducts, tip of your nose, above your lips, and your chin. But if you’re showing a little more skin, don’t forget to strobe your collar bones and your cleavage! Then the results should look a little something like this:

Now you’re a glowing goddess! We recommend wearing bronzer, brown eye shadows (i.e. Naked Palette), and eyebrow pomade to complete the make up look! As for hair, strobing looks good with hair that is pulled back, slicked back, or au naturale.

P.S. Throw on some gold glitter over your highlighter for your next mermaid or fairy costume this Halloween!
